In the bend of the Niger River, between Niger and Mali, the region serves as a crossroads of Berber and African cultures. The Kel Dennek Tuaregs, a semi-nomadic group, welcome visitors into their leather tents, constructed around a central pillar connected by four ropes to lateral pillars anchored in the ground. Inside the tent, various everyday items—furniture, jewelry, clothing—are displayed, illustrating both the continuity of the Berber cultural space from the North and African influences.
